jumping ahead -- RDI

Before I start slogging through all of the treatment options that we explored, some of which we tried, some that we discarded before even reading too much about them, I wanted to jump ahead a year and say that we found what we think is THE answer to Autism Remediation. RDI (Relationship Development Intervention) was what we ultimately decided on for Jacob. We are currently almost 2 years into our RDI program, and the progress has been amazing. I will have SO much more to say about RDI as we move along, but given that a year passed between when we realized Jacob had Autism and when we discovered RDI, I didn't want to keep anyone who happened to be reading this hoping to find the answer for their own child in suspense any longer than neccessary, as it could be weeks before RDI comes up in the history of our journey.
